Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů was very moved during Marcel Mihalovici's speech at the concert of composer Tibor Harsányi, who died in Paris on 19 September. Even he himself had no idea how many compositions he had composed during his lifetime. His piano is in good condition. BM should be composing now, but he's not very good at it. He has good news from Czechoslovakia: it is now possible to perform his compositions again. He heard [André] Jolivet's symphony - a performance with Charles Munch and it was better than he expected.
