Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kaprálová went to the École Normale with Bohuslav Martinů about her studies, but they didn't resolve anything because [Auguste] Mangeot and Naďa [Boulanger] weren't there. She therefore had to cancel her meeting with [Viktor] Kripner and Masson [Lucien Mainssieux?], with whom she wanted to discuss the exemption from tuition fees. She liked the concert of the Kolisch Quartet, she only has reservations about the repertoire. VK describes her normal day, where she regularly has a lesson with Bohuslav Martinů from 3-5. He is still working on the Partita. BM corrects her on the same things as Václav Kapral. "He mainly looks at the instrumentation, unfortunate and miserable." They both respect Rudek [Rudolf Kopec], who arranges a place for BM in Prague at the Master's [School of the Prague Conservatoire]. VK only regrets that RK is not like BM.
On the 28th [2 February 1939] there is to be a reception for Czechoslovak students, where VK's Elegy will be played.
