Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kaprálová has finally found a suitable apartment at the Jardin du Luxembourg in rue d'Assas, it should be available from 1 February. She managed to get [Viktor] Kripner [who was in charge of the matter of the scholarship holders in Paris] on her side. Aleon reportedly opposed the granting of her scholarship for another year. VK plans to enroll at the Sorbonne and would like to study composition with Igor Stravinsky, although he does not take any students. She has entrusted Bohuslav Martinů with the matter [of studying with IS], but he doesn't hold out much hope. Alternatively, she could study with Arthur Honegger. But first she must improve her French. In the meantime, she will instrument the Ballade [Ilena] and the Partita with BM. BM has lost 8 kg and looks bad. He wants to get the "compositional sloppiness" out of VK. Furthermore, VK is dealing with the matter of the performance and publication of the Suite rustica [by Universal Edition].
