Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kaprálová asks for the score [of the Military Symphony] from Melantrich, because the version her parents sent her is not complete. The hostile campaign against her has not yet escalated, but she will have to write again to a number of people about her scholarship for next year. Bohuslav Martinů telephoned the director of Ce soir to ask why she had been left out [mention of her conducting the Concerto for Harpsichord and Small Orchestra?], whereupon he apologised and said he would publish a note about it. BM and VK are now worried about going to London. He sees Rena [Trtilkova], her husband and Rudolf Kopec every day at the Foyer [for lunch]. On [Whitsun] holiday they were at Versailles and at the cinema. They are not to send BM money, [they will give it to him] only in the Czechoslovakia. They are leaving for London on Wednesday.
