ContentIn his letter, Leopold Stokowski requests four rehearsals for the planned concert, two rehearsals each. He also asks for one extra rehearsal with Rudolf Firkušný, which will then speed up rehearsals with the whole orchestra. LS hopes that it will be possible to have the concert on the 16th or 17th so that everything can be rehearsed well and as close to the ideal as humanly possible. [This is about the rehearsals for the concert which finally took place on 4 October 1956. The concert featured Bohuslav Martinů's INCANTATION, Piano Concerto No. 4, on the world premiere.]
