Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kaprálová sends her last greetings from [Monte Carlo], she will probably leave on Monday. There is a big folklore event tomorrow, so they still want to see her. She will stay two days on the way back - she wants to see Marseille, Lyon and Avignon. He will write to [Alois] Hába for details of the journey [to London]. She will not be able to finish [Ilena's] ballad this school year, but she will finish [Farewell and] Shattuck. He is working on [the score] for Triron. She is not very good at composing at the moment, and Bohuslav Martinů was not able to compose at all during his first two years in Paris. The [two] women's choirs don't have an opus, perhaps they could be added to Op. 10 or 17. But they are very difficult and so she thinks they won't catch on. On the contrary, [the arrangements of folk songs] for the local choir are very simple. When they do not need them, he will send them. Rudolf Kopec thanks for the greetings and for the invitation. BM wrote about London, but has not yet had a reply [about accompanying VK to the ISCM festival in London, where Václav Kaprál was originally supposed to go with his daughter].
