Content and physical description
ContentLeopold Stokowski will be looking forward to cooperation [responds to the offer to collaborate on the concert of 4 October 1956, where the world premiere of the CLAVIER CONCERT No. 4 (INKANTATION) was performed]. He confirms the date of the concert on 10 October. Discusses the planned programme (proposes a work by the American composer Hovhaness as the fourth composition [his piece will not be performed at the concert after all]), the choice of orchestra (agrees to involve the Symphony of the Air, or proposes to assemble an orchestra of the best players in New York), etc. LS agrees to record the concert the next day and proposes to use the services of Columbia Records. He requests a fee of $2,500 for the concert.
