Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kaprálová answers questions from Václav Kaprál. He is to receive his certificate at the end of the course. She cannot correct her choruses [Two Women's Choruses Op. 17] without the originals. Dr. Kupka did not write in the confirmation of her studies the information regarding her conducting, so Václav should attach her school certificate. She forgot to send the letter to Theodor Schaefer, so she will write a second one with apologies. VK asks what to enter in Melantrich, VAK himself is not to write anything there. Bohuslav Martinů writes a letter to Melantrich [MEL 1938-02-14] in which he describes VK as a gifted composer and recommends the publication of her works. Further, VK describes the events of the past few days. On Friday she instrumented with BM [Farewell and] The Sparrow and the Bells [Variations on the Bells of the Church of St-Etienne-du-Mont]. She sends greetings from BM and Charlotte Martin, both of whom inquire about the Corporal.
