ContentBohuslav Martinů responds to the letter of 6 October [1958], immediately writing to the bank. Marie can no longer live with J. [Jindřiška Martinů, widow of her brother František], but the house is Marie's, the situation must be resolved somehow, J. will probably cause trouble. It's lucky that Maruska [Pražanová] takes care of Maria. Miloš [Šafránek?] wrote that Karel [Šebánek?] will write a long letter. Charlie says hello.
