ContentLeonard Feist sends Charlotte Martin a check for $200. This is payment for royalties and also an advance on future royalties - just as they had agreed beforehand. Associated Music Publishers' legal department does not find ChM's affidavit to be a sufficient document, so many other documents need to be provided, including proof of a court declaration. LF did not want to delay sending the check, however, adding that it is imperative that the necessary documents arrive before another payment to ChM needs to be sent.
