ContentThe senders were delighted with Charlotte Martinů's book "Vie avec petit pere" [My life with Bohuslav Martinů]. They read it in the evening with a good friend who has been going there for 15 years with her son, a philosophy teacher at the Sorbonne. They were both at the Besançon Festival, where the CONCERT FOR TWO PIANOES was performed and where BM got a standing ovation, just as ChM describes it.
The book will surely be published. ChM must know who to offer it to. I am sure it will be successful. Thank you for it and for the donation.
Isn't ChM ever coming to Nice?
The writer has devoted a lot of time to composition. She would be happy if ChM would listen to some of her works. She also wrote about forty small pieces for harp. She'll try to offer them for publication, but it's hard when she doesn't know any publishers.
This year she participated in a harp competition [or audition] at the conservatory.
