Content and physical description

Content	This is Jaroslav Mihule's confirmation that he received a set of letters of condolence on the death of Bohuslav Martinů from Richard Klos of the Czech Music Fund. Charlotte Martinů expressed her wish to receive the letters from JM several times in letters addressed to him. He quotes a letter in which ChM says he could prepare them for publication. JM will hand over the letters in the same condition and number as soon as he has made the necessary extracts from them. There is an addendum by RK dated 7/1/1975 that he agrees subject to the proviso that ChM wished the letters not to be used for other than research purposes without his consent and they are to be returned at the time requested. A detailed inventory of these letters will be submitted by 15 February 1975.
