Content and physical description
ContentWladimir Lakond received a check for $100 from the Louisville Orchestra. They hope to be able to record RYTINY and have applied for a recording license. WL will soon send the first proofs of this piece, which Bohuslav Martinů will correct. The orchestra has already proofread and plans to check the other material. WL is sending contacts to European publishers who might be interested in the work. If BM has contacts for other companies - for example in Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium - WL can write to them. For the Czechoslovakia performance, WL will hopefully get better material, either from abroad or Artia could publish the work. He encloses the contracts for the release of INTERMEZZA and an authorized letter from Columbia Records regarding the authority to record the work and the contract. WL is also looking forward to receiving the manuscript of the new songs from Nice and would like to arrange for the release of these songs. He has also received reviews from the Louisville Orchestra.
