Content and physical description
ContentWladimir Lakond writes that it will be necessary to change the title of the work RYTINY in all contracts, including the Bohuslav Martinů copy. He therefore asks that two copies of the contracts be sent back to him for correction. The work will be premiered by the Louisville Orchestra, but further arrangements need to be made contractually as there will then be no opportunity to change the agreement. The ensemble reserves the rights to perform the piece and use the material free of charge for one year from the receipt of the material. However, there is no problem for another ensemble to perform the piece after the premiere. The agreement also includes an agreement on the return of the material and financial issues regarding the extraction of individual parts. After one year, WL would like to charge the orchestra for the rental of the materials and the rights to perform the piece. The orchestra would like to have its parts by early September, so WL is asking BM to send the score. The orchestra also requests a biography to be written especially for the occasion. However, if BM does not wish to write this text, WL will refer them to music encyclopedias.
