Content and physical description
ContentRudolf F. Kallir is still working for Nathan von Patten, although NvP - it seems - has forgotten him. He had a pleasant conversation with [Bohuslav] Martinů today. He told him that RFK's position towards NvP is a bit embarrassing, as he seems to have made up the situation with the manuscript. BM was very pleasant, he said he would be happy to prepare the manuscript, he just had to find out where it was. He says it is chamber music. BM suggested he could call next Wednesday, so RFK hopes to have the situation resolved by then. BM is one of the leading composers and his piece will be very welcome at Stanford University. He asks NvP to write to him after he hands in the manuscript. He hopes to see him in New York so that he can give him the manuscript of [Giachino] Rossini.
