Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kaprálová begins to participate in the organization of musical events in Paris. She arranged the celebrations for the 45th anniversary of the Sokol and is planning a music and recitation programme for the Pen-club, which was arranged by Bohuslav Martinů. On Saturday night she sang old French songs in the former hunger room. Líba [Houžvičková], [Josef] Páleníček, [Rudolf] Kopec and [Edgar] Hauner were also there. On Sunday she was at the Louvre to see the Impressionists and then, exceptionally, to see the operetta Trois Valse. They [LH, JP, VK] spent the evening with BM until midnight to toast her birthday. They arranged with BM to see if he would take them to Monday's rehearsal [presumably of the CONCERT FOR VIOLONCELLO AND ORCHESTRA No 1]. VK goes on to discuss Dr Hauner courting her.
