Content and physical description
ContentOlga Borová writes to Bohuslav Martinů that she is pleased with his confidence in her singing qualities and is happy for BM's first successes. She would very much like to comply with BM's request and come to Prague, considering it her duty to reproduce Czech composers. However, she is unable to comply with the request on the grounds that she has gone abroad because she has not been able to develop her talent in Prague and her abilities have not been fairly recognised. OB promised herself that she would only perform in Prague when she could get the satisfaction she deserved with her guest appearances. She also refused to perform for Vinohrady Hlahol and refused BM's request. Outside of Prague, however, she is always happy and willing to sing, she has performed in Turnov and is going to Kutná Hora.
