ContentFrantišek Vydra writes to Bohuslav Martinů that he would like to give him the gift of 5 000,- which BM asked for so that he could get out of the conditions that are suffocating him. FV understands BM's wish to go forward at his young age and would like to help him also for the reason that we have one more visual artist. However, FV's situation is not favourable now, the war has financially drained him and he is in the same position as BM. FV is hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt so he cannot provide any financial support to BM. FV advises BM to try to approach some money institutions as they have plenty of money. This is the only advice FV can give him and he asks BM to tell him if he has received the requested loan.
