Content and physical description
ContentThank you for your letter of 8 April. He was ill after returning from his travels. He did not speak to [Karel Šolc] about visiting Polička, so he does not know why he told them that Karel Šebánek would visit them in Polička on 17 February. Bohuslav Martinů should write a letter to KSheb asking him to come to see him, because everything cannot be resolved through letters, and without an invitation KSheb will not get permission to visit. KSheb brought a plate from Paris, the bronze bust is to arrive in 3 weeks. Dilia has published all 3 parts of the SPALK, so he could take it with him. BM has offered a number of chamber works for publication by the [SNKLHU] publishers on KSheb's advice. In Paris, KSheb spoke with Ambassador Josef Urban, who then intervened in BM's matter, so the presidium of the Ministerial Council asked for an overview of the publication of BM's works. So hopefully things will move. KSEB has discovered some manuscripts, but has only received one so far. He'll bring them a certificate of ownership to Polička. May Jindřiška [Martinů] get well soon.
