Content and physical description
ContentKarel Šebánek writes after a four-month illness. He is employed at Kniga in a menial position that does not suit him. He sought a hearing with the Deputy Prime Minister in vain. It is on his file that he has maintained contacts with foreign countries and failed as a director, whereupon he cannot be employed in a suitable position. He has not received any letter from B[ohuslav] M[artin] since October. He thinks they have been lost. KS cannot write to him. At the State Publishing House, [Josef] Kalash is the director. [Václav] Mikota, who does not like BM, also works there. So BM will probably not do well there. The only way BM can achieve results is through Boosey and Hawkes or through the local ministry. KS is looking forward to his vacation in about a month. Hopefully he will come to Polička to see them too.
