Content and physical description
ContentKarel Šebánek thanks you for your letter and for the programmes which he will return to František [Martinů] on his trip to Prague. Bohuslav Martinů does not reply to letters. KS needs his permission to print the piano extract of ŠPALÍČK, to be published in December. Otherwise KS will give his consent himself. He has managed to arrange permission for the rejected pocket scores. Perhaps voices will be allowed for them as well. The January contract for representation in England and the USA with Boosey and Hawkes will be settled in a fortnight. Encloses copies of letters he has written to opera houses performing BM works. FM is to bring them back to Prague. He has also requested rental fees for material belonging to Czechoslovak Radio. They are to let the Martins know at the end of the month how much they have received from which theatre. Unfortunately he was unable to come to visit them in Polička during his vacation, he is very busy with the printers.
