Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kaprálová wanted to see Oto [Vach] in Prague, but she did not have time to send the two previous letters inviting him to the meeting. She was pleased that OV was at the concert [26 November 1937], because he was the impetus for her to write the Symphonie. She spoke there with the President [Edvard Beneš]. VK had not yet seen much of Paris because of the amount of work. She sends her address. She lives near Boulevard Saint-Michel. She will be here for about 2 years and then she has been promised London. He already knows a number of important people. But the best are the meetings and discussions with [Bohuslav] Martinů at the Closerie des Lilas. Of the Louvre, she likes [Jakob] Jordaens (4 Evangelists, Le roi Boit), Leonardo da V[inci], Rembrandt. She hates [Paul] Rubens. She goes to various international and Czech clubs, to the theatre - also to drama, to concerts, to the library. Did he get her first ticket? She remembers him.
