Content and physical description
ContentStatement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs [Josef Palivec?] on the financial support of Bohuslav Martinů, Jan Zrzavý and Josef Šíma in response to the letter [MŠ 1930-10-09]. The MFA writes that the subsidies provided to BM in 1925-1930 amount to 20,000 francs and 9,000 CZK. In addition, the Ministry of Education paid BM a total of 30,550 francs and 800 CZK in 1923-1930. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not intend to provide BM with new subsidies, even though it acknowledges that his works are gaining success in France. For JZ and JŠ it recommends support in the form of the purchase of their paintings.
