ContentJán Papánek mentions a visit to New York, where Bohuslav Martinů and Rudolf Firkušný asked him if they could continue to receive financial assistance because their income was insufficient. Both BM and RF sent letters to JP, copies of which he encloses. JP also told them to write to Ambassador Vladimir Hurban. JP talked about the matter with [Jan] Masaryk who thought that they should be given aid for the next few months.
