ContentBohuslav Martinů asks Jaroslav Jindra if he could find some way to reimburse BM for at least part of the costs [associated with his stay in Prague during March 1938]. He was turned down at the National Theatre, so he asks him if he could put in a good word for him with the Ministry of Education. Miloš Šafránek mentions to BM that an audition for a children's opera has been announced, so BM asks JJ for further details. BM hasn't abandoned the idea of returning to Prague, so he asks JJ to keep an eye out for vacancies that BM could apply for. He expresses an interest in the vacancy left by Josef Foerster at the Master's School, or in replacing Vítězslav Novák at the Prague Conservatoire. BM wants to stay in Paris next year, but after that he would like to return home. BM also sends his greetings from Charlotte Martinů.
