Content and physical description
ContentOn the advice of Miloš Šafránek, Bohuslav Martinů writes clarifying information to the previous letter. MS wrote to the Secretary of the President's Office, Prokop Drtin, and to Minister Emil Franke, asking if BM could be a musical advisor in the preparations for the 1937 [EXPO] exhibition. BM wrote to Josef Schieszl, who had earlier supported him in his application for a professorship at the Prague Conservatory and promised him further help. BM would like to obtain a post at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a promoter of Czech music in Paris. He also mentions in this context the merits of Karel Šebánek. BM hopes that after the appointment of Josef Křička to succeed Josef Suk in Prague, they will try to help him in some other way. Jaroslav Jindra is coming to Paris, BM wants to meet him.
