Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů is disappointed by the unsuccessful outcome of his bid for a professorship at the Prague Conservatory's Master School, which he did not get. He names Jindřich Honzl and Bedřich Feuerstein as other artists to whom he compares himself. He mentions his contribution to his country (promotional, financial), for which he expected recognition and support. He asks Jaroslav Jindra to intercede on his behalf with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kamil Krofta, whom he begs for an administrative title that would enable him to continue his work in Paris without having to worry constantly about the lack of funds.
