ContentHubert Ripka reminds Bohuslav Martinů of the case of Dr. Hermann Grab, whose request must be submitted as soon as possible. Mr Firkušný's opinion was favourable. [It is not clear which of the Firkušný brothers.] HR further informs BM about the departure of one of our gentlemen to Switzerland, where gramophone records, which HR believes are needed here, could be purchased. HR asks BM to send a list of gramophone records to be purchased, including his own works. Works by Bedřich Smetana, Leoš Janáček, Vítězslav Novák, Josef Suk and Antonín Dvořák - in addition to the already owned Slavonic Dances, the symphony From the New World and the Cello Concerto - have already been commissioned.
