Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů fears that JH is turning away from him because he has not written a single line about his songs that would please the author in a distant land. BM believes that JH is angry with him because he doesn't write to him. However, he is very busy and has many plans. He is also studying a lot so that JH can write something other than musings and sentiments later. There really is a lot of material to study. BM asks JH not to be angry with him and to follow his creations with earlier interest. He concludes his letter by wishing JH a happy holiday.
