Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks Josef Hutter for the legitimation and for the article in Divadlo, which Dr. [Emanuel] Siblík told him about. He sends a contribution and hopes that JH will write to him more often. BM already has an apartment and has gotten his bearings in Paris. Next time he will write an article about Arthur Honneger, whom he met, and about Igor Stravinsky, who is supposedly a great koorala. BM will get JH what he needs as he got him Smetana. He just asks him to let JH know at least a month in advance as it takes at least a month. BM will get the contributions, but he doesn't have the connections yet and the sujet is not an easy solution, almost no one knows Smetana. He'll get something from Rhené Baton, Blanche Selva, Count Lestang [?], the pianist [Flagni ?] who was in Prague and maybe Antoine Bourdelle. Again, he warns that it will take at least a month. BM agrees to have JH send him the contributions at once. He concludes the letter by saying that this is not for JH to give to the press, it is for him alone. Finally, he encloses his current address: compositeur de musique, Hotel. 3 rue Lechapelais, Paris 17e.
