| Content | Bohuslav Martinů sends Josef Hutter a little message, if he can use it. As soon as he settles down a bit, he will send him a better one, he is currently distracted by everything. BM asks JH for a French identity card as for a journalist or contributor to his or another magazine. BM would find it helpful, he needs it urgently, asks for it to be sent soon. He does not yet have a permanent apartment, encloses an address to which JH can write to him (Institut d'études slaves, B. Martinů, compositeur, 9 rue Michelet, Paris). He also reports that he is taking private lessons with Albert Roussel and is his only pupil. If JH publishes this, BM asks him to send one copy to him and one to his home address in Polička (Martinů, at 182 Svépomoci, Polička). He also asks to send the article if it has already been published. At the end of the letter, he thanks and again reminds the facility of legitimation. He promises to send JH a postcard and if he is interested in anything specific, he is to tell him. BM already has many acquaintances but still has trouble speaking, even so he hopes to do well here. |
