ContentVáclav Talich thanks Jindřich Honzl for his letter from May, which pleased him. VT writes about the bitterness of life and that even a cursory handshake is a reinforcement for further struggle. The growing and mainly anonymous evil must be fought all the more. VT expresses his joy at having found some good friends among young workers like JH, adding that they must stick together because they are few and beaten by laziness, cowardice and malice.
