ContentJan Löwenbach sends Bohuslav Martinů a selection of possible titles for the scherzo movement [THUNDERBOLT P-47]: 1) On the Highway; 2) Riverside Drive; 3) Frolic Ride; 4) Spitfire. These are programmatically figurative. Rather abstract would be: Scherzando ritmico. But JL would have to know the piece a bit to be more definitive. JL asks to be told the dates [of the concerts in] Boston and Philadelphia.
