Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů wishes Karel Boleslav Jirák all the best for the new year. BM commutes to Princeton and enjoys it. He has good students and does a lot of studying himself in the library with lots of good books and music. He has little news from home. [Jan] Löwenbach is here [in New York] but not yet well, so they have only been on the phone. BM gives a telephone number. BM hardly works, he is not enjoying composing now. [Rudolf] Firkušný met with [Rafael] Kubelík in Brussels.
