Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů congratulates Karel Boleslav Jirák on his marriage. It's complicated with American visas. Perhaps only [Roosevelt] College can help, maybe even Olin Downes. KBJ is to consult with an attorney quickly. Perhaps if KBJ had connections at the State Department in Washington. The League of Composers can't help, it only cares about its members, the Americans. BM doesn't have a teaching job, after his injury he lives on savings and orders, which he can't even fill because his work is slow. Things are bad with BM's return to Prague after the events that are happening now - Zdeněk Nejedlý is again the Minister of Education. BM won't even go to the [Prague Spring] Festival, if at all. Even the [Czech] Philharmonic did not invite him this year.
