Content and physical description
ContentLouis Moyse gives thanks for the letter concerning Bohuslav Martinů. "Petit Père", as friends called him, and his wife Charlotte Martinů were good friends of the Moyse family since 1933. They spent many days together either in their house in Montmartre, or in their summer home in Saint-Amour, Jura. He has a copy of SONATA FOR FLUTE, VIOLIN AND PIANO, H 254, written for Moyse Trio, and recorded by Columbia nebo HMV, in 1935 or 1936 [sic; the composition was finished and performed for the first time in 1937]; it is part of LM's personal archives, will be mentioned in his biography and "diffused" by a CD when the time will come. Right now it is not available for anyone.
