ContentBohuslav Martinů would like to thank Jos Vranken and his choir for their understanding and for their letter, which made him very happy. He is glad that his music brought them joy. BM asks if there is also a male choir. At present he only has pieces for a capella mixed choir published by Boosey & Hawkes, London. He then has in manuscript a song cycle with small orchestra to Czech folk texts. Although he feels himself to be more of an instrumental composer, he is now turning his attention to choral work and will certainly keep the JV choir in mind.
