ContentDilia thanks Boosey & Hawkes for their letter of 11 June 1957 concerning the terms of [Strauss's] Salome. They have informed the theatre in Olomouc that the work is considered a full-length opera as far as rental and operating fees are concerned.
Thank you for the information about MIRANDOLINA. [B&H stated in their letter that the opera was not their property and that they did not know how Dilia could acquire it.] They are in contact with Bohuslav Martinů and hope to hear from him on this matter.
They also thank them for the piano excerpt of Prokofiev's ballet The Prodigal Son. It was sent to the State Theatre in Brno.
They noted the address of the Salabert publishers who published Honegger's Joan of Arc at the Border.
