ContentDilia sends Bohuslav Martinů the texts of plays at his request. The plays are Lucerna, Pan Johanes and Zahořanský hun by Alois Jirásek, Hadrian of the Romans by Václav Kliment Klicpera and Jak přišla bassa do nebe by Marie Kubátová.
Josef Tříška, the representative of the heirs of Alois Jirásek, gives the composer his consent to the opera treatment of Lucerna, but the opinion of the heirs of Vítězslav Novák will have to be taken into account. The widow of VN Maria Nováková has not yet been reached by Dilia.
