Content	The writer replies to the letter of 7 August 1959. He will not be able to discuss the matter in person in the near future [Bohuslav Martinů was considering a musical treatment of Alois Jirásek's Lucerna, see DLA 1959-08-17], and will not return to Prague from Hronov until the beginning of September. As a representative of Jirásek's heirs, he welcomes the composer's interest and agrees to accommodate it. Dilia could find out the attitude of Vítězslav Novák's heirs.
