ContentDilia sends Karel Šebánek materials related to Bohuslav Martinů's operas. These include a letter from Dilia to the composer dated 28-12-1955 [DLA 1955-12-28], a copy of the composer's letter to Dilia dated 18-1-1956 [DLA 1956-01-18], a copy of Dilia's letter to the composer dated 31-1-1956 [DLA 1956-01-31], a copy of their draft contract, and a copy of the draft contract from Boosey & Hawkes [BH 1955-11-14?]. Karel Šebánek may supplement the letter of 31-01-1956 with an explanatory comment.
In view of the last letter from BM [DLA 1956-01-18], the contract with B&H needs to be well fleshed out. KS could find out the details better than Dilia. If BM's relationship with B&H is lukewarm, it would not make sense to contract with them for all [stage] works.
