ContentDilia thanks Artia for her letter of 16 June 1955 concerning Artia's contract with Boosey & Hawkes to represent the works of Bohuslav Martinů. He encloses a few notes:
Broadcasting, television and operating rights cannot be in Artie's contract. These rights must be contracted with Dilia as the only authorized partners of B&H in Czechoslovakia.
In the contract between Dilia and B&H, consent will be given for the two parties to represent each other (B&H in the West, Dilia in the "people's democratic" countries), the terms must be agreed directly with Dilia.
There is great interest in BM operas in Czechoslovak theatres, especially MIRANDOLINA.
Dilia will be happy if Artia will address these comments to the B&H publishers and refer them to Dilia. B&H is to tell Dilia which BM opera materials it has available.
