Content and physical description
ContentKarel Šolc learned that a pocket score of the CONCERTO FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA No. 4 INKANTATION by B[ohuslav] M[artinů] was to be published. Four or five years ago KS prepared the press proofs for the 1st proof and found errors on the engraved plates and asked repeatedly for another proof, but was told that publication was not contemplated. If the score is published as proofed in the 1st proof, KS disclaims responsibility for any errors. He did more than he had to do for the publishing house, asking for proofs, even though the publishing house is contractually obliged to supply the proofs itself. For example, Volume 1 of the album of Czech piano pieces or Vánoce BM are still without proofreading.
