Content	Otakar Šourek spoke with [Václav] Mikota from the Musical Matrix [Umělecká beseda] and he asked Miloš Šafránek to send his book on Bohuslav Martinů for review, HMUB would like to publish something like that. The study of the MŠ, which he wrote that he had sent by post, did not arrive. The MS writes about political problems in cultural circles, about the attacks on [Václav] Talich, who is already completely exhausted mentally. In CSR he is already looking forward to BM's compositions and to himself. His authority would help here. The MC replies that he also smokes and drinks coffee, but begs the MC not to worry about post-war misery.
