Content and physical description

Content	Otakar Aleš Kukla would like to thank Miloš Šafránek for his reply to his questions about the SONGS FOR THE CHILDREN'S CHOIR [Bohuslav] Martinů, which he needed for the Children's Choir of the Regional House of Pioneers and Youth in Brno. The members of the choir corresponded with BM and he gave them these choruses, which were written about by MS in his article in Musical Views. From the estate of Maria Martinů, the museum has two letters from members of the choir addressed to BM, and [Jaroslav] Dostalík sent OAK copies of two letters from BM to members of the choir (the last one is dated 3 February 1959). OAK passed information about the mixed choirs to the Kollár choir in Polička - they decided on two of the FIVE CZECH MADRIGALS.
