ContentWilliam Ziegler III replies to the letter of 30 May. According to Robert Kratschmer, Charlotte Martinů is alive and can be contacted at an address in Montfermeil [in Paris], France. RK also reports that the SYMPHONY [No. 4 by Bohuslav Martinů] was commissioned by WZ III's father, William Ziegler Jr. and the original score is said to be at the home of WZ III's mother in Noroton, Connecticut. RK would like to receive a recording of this symphony and asks for information on where it might be available. WZ III writes that his father died in March 1958.
