Content and physical description
ContentReaction to the letter sent on 30 December 1945. The articles that Marie Martinů asked for have not yet been published, so František Bartoš sends the most important one, i.e. his own biography of Bohuslav Martinů, and in addition the manuscript of an article on Stanislav Novák. They can keep the cover until he sends the finished issue of Tempo, and he asks to return the article on Novák after reading it. The volume on SN will be published in a few months. In the second issue of Tempo, S. Novak's lecture on BM will be published, which FB will send to them together with other articles by Jan Löwenbach. The article "1938-45" will also be published separately. He also carries two photographs which will be published with the article. Frantisek Popelka has published some BM brochure and FB does not know the address for it. Therefore he asks to send it, or to send the brochure directly. He will send Popelka the "1938-1945" booklet in exchange. Has she seen Miloš Šafránek's English book about BM? She will try to get them a copy later from America or London. The booklet is very nice. FB is also happy about BM's success because he sees him as a fellow Ukrainian because he is from Brno.
