ContentZdeněk Wirth responds to the previous letter. According to the custom, it is necessary to wait for the proposal of the professorial board of the master school, if it is necessary to fill the position left by [Josef] Suk, in the same field, if a competition is to be announced, or if it is to be filled at the request of suitable candidates mentioned by the board. Only then, according to the regulations, would they ask the Ministry of Finance and the Government for approval. The Ministry of Education cannot call someone for the post who has not applied and whose application has not been considered by the Professorial Council. ZW has respect for Bohuslav Martinů and knows about his situation, but it would be difficult for him to promote him against the proposal and the will of the conservatory. If he wants to know the Conservatory's opinion, the only option is for BM to put in an application to the Conservatory's Rector's Office.
