Content and physical description

Content	Bohuslav Martinů writes again in the matter of the conservatory. Dr. Říha promised to find out what the situation is with the vacancy left by J. B. Foerster at the master's school, whether it is vacant or occupied by [Jan] Branberger, and to communicate the results to Josef Schlieszl. If it was not filled, Říha said it would be an easy action, otherwise it would be necessary to look for another solution. They are in Switzerland in September, so BM would come to Prague in October. BM asks JS to tell him the results of Říha's search and whether he should come to Prague. Říha also talked about the departure of [Karl] Hoffmeister. BM would have the intercession of Minister [Stefan] Osusky, [Jaroslav] Šalda and [Bohumila] Slavíčková-Masaryková in Prague, who promised to address the President [Edvard Beneš] directly through Hana Benešová. BM has the desire to return to Bohemia, every day in Paris seems lost to him. It seems that his place is now at home. Perhaps due to political events, BM realizes that his return is necessary and that important work awaits him at home. Together with Charlotte Martinů, he greets the whole family.
