He hopes that the parcels have arrived safely in Paris, and wonders whether the parcel from Mausbach has arrived. The next day is Mischa [Elman]'s concert, everyone is very busy with the festival at Tanglewood. Mr. Alberts paid him a visit yesterday. He has no news of Maria [Martinu] and Rudolf [Firkušný], who is probably somewhere with one of his "sweethearts". He is sorry that he and ChM have been separated for so long.
